I have an HDMI cable connected to my PC with my new HDTV. I set it on "PC" but it's a black screen > "no signal". Any help?

You're reading Probably replacing my Sony tube tv soon for plasma or LCD. Screen size guidelines seem huge as 60 inch model is recommended for my 15x15 room. Is it important to follow the guidelines on screen size? My current tube tv has a 27 inch screen.
