  • He went through a Christian period, yes. I think he got unsaved later on.
  • Yep- to this day. I wonder how he would feel about my claims of him being Christ?
  • He did indeed go through a Christian period (1979 - 1981) - which abruptly ended after the album Shot of Love. To the best of my knowledge, he is currently not touting himself as a "Christian" singer/songwriter.
  • A Christian is someone, anyone, man or woman who follows the teaching of Jesus Christ, one who follows the teaching of God's word in the Bible..a believer, a born again person who has made a choice to live his life after the teachings of jesus, as recorded in the Bible. Is Bob Dylan doing that? I don't know. Did He make some great "Christian" albums? Well if they uplifted the LORD, and gave glory to Him, and helped you feel closer to God when you listened to them, than I guess you could say they were "Christian". I hope and pray that even if Bob Dylan is not following the LORD right now, that He will follow Him, because in the words of his own song.."there's a slow train coming, coming round the bend.
  • Within just the last couple years or so Bob's site had links to books, and one was a book entitled Hebrew Christianity by Arnold Fruchtenbaum. In fact, you can read the book Dylan and The Frucht if you want to really explore further.
  • Most likely, but not now.
