D15B, stock oem engine, vtec and non-vtec will bolt on easily. You may also go with JDM b16a used engine, jdm b18c gsr, jdm b18c type r engine to gain more horsepower but will also need mounts, axles and shifter linkage. jdm used engines have less miles. the best jdm honda engine is JDM k20a type r (from Honda Integra Type_r, Japan). its new, uses timing chain, but they downside that its very expensive, usually runs $10000 instaled, because it needts a lot of extra parts. The jdm b18c Type R is alot more affordable, about $4200, 200hp DOHC VTEC! Of course if you just want to get your car runniong, you can do that for about $850 with sohc vtec 1.5L Honda Civic jdm used engine. Just pick one.
