  • Taking a tub bath is extremely quite. Taking a shower is extremely noisy. If you can't carry a tune in a bucket, who cares? The sound of the shower spray covers all your bad notes and the water lodged in your ears, takes care of the rest. So enjoy!
  • The tile has great accustics and standing is the best posture for singing (and hitting Aerosmith high notes). I also sing while sitting on the toilet so why not sing in the bath. Heck, tonight I will sing while brushing my teeth just to say I did. Break the standards!!
  • I sing in both...I also sing in my bedroom, living room, kitchen, etc. I just like to sing...
  • The acoustics make it sound much better because it reflects your voice back to you and therefore it sounds amplified. However, singing in the shower wastes water and energy because when we do so we shower much longer, according to Paul Harvey News last week.
  • I understand that most people who sing in the shower do so because of the acoustic resonance...it makes you sound good. (Or at least better anyway.) Like Ms. A. Rising said, I sing just about anywhere. My latest "embarrassing" place to sing is at the gym. There I was running on the treadmill, with my MP3 player cranked, and I started singing along with the Proclaimers. Next thing you know, everyone in the place had stopped what they were doing and were watching me. I didn't have the nerve to ask them whether they liked it or not :-)
