As you may know, nearly 40 million Americans are inflicted with Chronic Sinusitis and billions of dollars have been spent by these Americans in their attempts to find a relief or cure for this ailment. If you visit a major drug store, you may find their shelves loaded with up to 50 or more different preparations promising all types of relief or cures. Meanwhile, many of these Americans end up seeing an ENT (ear, nose, throat) doctor for relief or a cure. The usual ENT doctor will prescribe some type of antibiotic or in the most severe cases they will perform endoscopic surgery. Unfortunately, according to medical researchers, only 5% of these cases find some type of relief. After an extensive research study, Mayo Clinic concludes there is no known cure for Chronic Sinusitis at this time. For further information in obtaining instant sinus relief, visit www.sinudoc.com

There are no "cures" per se for chronic sinusitis, but there are ways to feel a heck of a lot better and end the suffering. I suffered for about 25 years before I finally found some relief. Check out Drs Ivker's and Dr. Grossan's published works on sinusitis.

You might also like to check out The Sinus Report at http://www.thesinusreport.com for relief. All are excellent resources and can help change your life. I wish this particular resource as well as those above were available to me years ago!

I've had 5 surgeries already, most of which made the problem worse. Seek out other alternatives (and second and third opinions) before diving head first into sinus surgery. Surgery fixes the problems caused by chronic sinusitis but not sinusitis itself.

The one thing that helped me the most (and most others) is nasal irrigation.

    Hope this helps!

The only solution suggested to me was surgery.

Only 50% of this type surgery is successful.

    Mine was.

The blood, surrounding my brain, became infected and surgery was the only recourse.

“There are approximately 40 million Americans who suffer from chronic sinusitis. Billions of dollars are spent annually by this group in search of some form of relief; unfortunately very little relief is ever found. Through the years, I have witnessed how people suffer from this illness with clogged nasal passages, headaches, infected teeth, visual problems and various other related conditions; this typifies my experiences for the past 60 years from chronic sinusitis plus a couple of nasal operations”, relates Earle Weichman, retired California retired business executive.

Earle notes that as he grows older, his sinus problems keep increasing. He developed breathing problems including sleep apnea. He felt that death was around the corner unless he could find some type of help. For relief he was willing to do anything whether it was operations, medications, moving to a different climate, install humidifiers, air filtration system; unfortunately, nothing helped. Finding an answer became a personal challenge. Since he was retired, he had lots of free time to research and study thousands of articles published on chronic sinusitis.

After about three years of steady research and experiencing many types of remedies, antibiotics, antihistamines, etc; he learned that Mayo Clinic’s extensive study on chronic sinusitis concluded there was no absolute cure for chronic sinusitis. Mayo’s report stated that the best relief for this condition was nasal irrigation using a 2 oz. bulb syringe and flushing your nasal passages with a saline solution.

He proceeded to try this recommended procedure and found it to give him the best relief that he has ever experienced. Unfortunately this relief did not last long and he had to keep flushing several times a day. Since your nasal passages can produce up to one quart of mucus per day, he felt that some procedure or medicine needed be develop to stem this rapid mucus flow.

With additional research and testing, Earle has developed his ultimate goal in sinus relief. This new chronic sinusitis procedure is called “SinuDoc Nasal Relief Therapy.” In testing this procedure it was found that 99% of the candidates experienced immediate relief and over 50% found a gradual reduction in nasal mucus. All candidates stated that they felt progressively improved.

There are cures. Sinusitis is caused by an infection, therefore by getting rid of the infection you relieve many of the symptoms. A close friend of mine used sinusoothe for a couple of months and it got rid of her infection. She had chronic sinusitis for almost twenty years. She has never looked back. Sinusoothe is totally natural and she said when her sinus headaches and pain were unbearable she used this and the relief she got was unbeleivable. She keeps going on about it so I thought other people should hear about it as well.

    There aren't any cures really.

The only 'cure' there is is to have your sinuses drained/widened/opened up through surgery. Usually, surgery sorts them out, but some people do still suffer with sinusitis after surgery, for most of them it's mild compared to how it was.

Antibiotics can also clear the infection up, but the infection does tend to come back in chronic sinusitis.

You could also try taking Sudafed, or similar, but that's more a temporary fix and won't help that much in the long term.

Nasal irrigation is a great suggestion. Everything is inflamed so work on the inflammation. Raw garlic (chop and let sit 10 minutes before consuming) can help if you eat enough of it. Keep lots of peppermint on hand.....
