  • As if you are learning your native language when you where a small child. Start with the sounds of the alphabet, then into basic sentences etc. It will take about 3 months.

  • Living in a place where people speak English and your learning it is the only way to further any kinda communication works pretty well, but it isn't without its ordeals and humiliation. Even to this day I still have problems sometimes. But, it really works.

  • One of the best ways of studying language is listening to music and identifying lyrics. I would recommend listening to rock music (and definitely not rap) as there one can find very colorful vocabulary. If you study a frase from a song, you won't ever forget it.
  • Learn and practice everyday - talk with your friends in English, watch movies in English without subtitles, join English forums, find English friends who you can write letters or chat in real time with. In other words learn it and use it every chance you get.
