    Hunting, at least they show more scenery. Fishing shows you just see water, a boat and some boring guys.

    I have a friend who has a fishing show, "Addictive Fishing" so I would opt to watch that, but anything other than that, hunting or fishing, and I'm off to read something.

    Definitely fishing - salt water AND fresh water!

    Since I was 4 or 5, my Dad started teaching me how to fish. It's been quite a while since we went fishing.

    It's too cold to take Dad at this time of year. Next spring we'll go! We need the break!

    Thanks for getting my brain to give a thought about Dad and the things he likes to do.

    When I was in the Boy Scouts, I went to camp. I shot a .22 rifle into some targets with hay in back of them. The instructor said I was "a pretty good shot".
    He asked if I ever hunted.
    My reply, "No sir. I asked my Dad about taking me hunting so we could get a deer. My Dad sat me down and said, 'Son, I did enough hunting in the service. The kind of hunting I did, the animal shot back! In World War II, I was a scout in the U.S. Army.

    We don't have to go hunting. We can go to the store and get just about any kind of meat we want."

    I always switch to another channel if hunting or fishing shows are on. Don't like to see people bullying wild life.
