Which is the best for cleaning floors: wet mop, swiffer mop, steam mop or hard floor cleaner?

I have hardwood floors throughout my whole house. I've found the best thing to use is (and this is gonna sound strange) the cheap Gerber prefold cloth diapers they sell at wal-mart and target, attached to a Swiffer sweeper. I sweep the floor with a broom, use one diaper to get up all the stuff the broom left behind (I REFUSE to buy Swiffer refills. What a waste), then use a second diaper to damp-mop the floor with a 1 part vinegar to 4 parts HOT water solution. Sometimes I add a bit of dishwashing liquid. Then, the diapers go right in with the whites load. ^_^
