Best season to dig a hole in a cornfield at night... spring, summer, or fall?

    fall. its dark enough not to be seen . its warm enough not to get cold and it probably wont rain

    It depends if you will need the same amount of dirt back in the hole. If you want an emptier hole, then dig it early in the year. If you want it fuller, then dig it late in the year, towards fall.

    Late summer... too many weed-copters. Try Early to mid-Summer, the late summer heat will help to decompose what ever you are "planting"
