  • When I had "sit down" jobs I would do "Chair" exercises, like moving my arms and legs around and just all sorts of different motions...it would keep me awake and sometimes get rid of the boredom!! If any one would see you they might think you are a little crazy but you'll be healthier!!
  • Here are some ideas that worked for me while I was working long hours at my jobs before the Army and while on long guard shifts in the Army. At regular intervals, or whenever the mood strikes: 20-50 push-ups, whether on the floor or a desk 20-50 dips, desk or chair, the lower the better Lots of deep lunges Lots and lots of standing calf raises I used to even lay on the floor and knock out 100 crunches If you can bring a hand or forearm exerciser to work with you it wouldn't hurt either. (I think I might need to heed my own advice and get my @$$ back in gear....)
