Help answer this question below.
"Crazy" by Aerosmith with Liv Tyler and Alicia Silverstone. (definetely old school).
It was actually voted #23 by VH1's top 100 music videos of all time.
Michael Jackson's Thriller.
Even though it has been a while since I have seen it, I LOVE Tha Crossroads by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony! It has a good message to it.
I posted a video and here are the lyrics:
[Bone]
Bone Bone Bone Bone.. Bone.. Bone.. Bone.. Bone.. Bone
Now tell me whatcha gonna do
when there ain't no where to run (tell me what)
(When judgment comes for you, when judgment comes for you)
And whatcha gonna do
when there ain't no where to hide (tell me what)
When judgment comes for you (Cause it's gonna come for you)
[Bizzy]
Head south let's all bring it in for Wally, Eazy sees uncle Charlie
Little Boo, but God's got him and I'm gonna miss everybody
I only rolled and blows my gauge looked at him while he lay
When playing with destiny, plays too deep for me to say
Lil' Layzie came to me, told me if he should decease well then please
Bury me by my grand-grand and when you can, come follow me
[Layzie]
God bless you working on a plan to Heaven
Follow the Lord all 24/7 days, GOD is who we praise
even though the devil's all up in my face
But he keeping me safe and in my place, say grace
For the case to race with a chance to face the judge
And I betcha my soul won't budge
Grudge because there's no mercy for thugs
Oh what can I do it's all about our family and how we roll
Can I get a witness let it unfold
We living our lives to eternal our soul aye-oh-aye-oh
[Krayzie]
Prayyyyyyy, and we pray and we pray, and we pray, and we pray
Everyday, everyday, everyday, everyday
and we pray, and we pray, and we pray, and we pray
Still we laced, now follow me roll stroll
Whether is tell of his Heaven
Come let's go take a visit of people that's long gone
Darris, Wally, Eazy, Terry, Boo
It's steadily creeping up on the family
Exactly how many days we got lasting
While you laughing we're passing, passing away
So y'all go rest y'all souls
Cause I know I'ma meet you up at the crossroads
Y'all know y'all forever got love from them Bone Thugs baby
[Wi$h]
Lil Eazy's long gone
Really wish he would come home
But when it's time to die
Gotta go bye bye
All a lil thug could do is cry, cry
Why they kill my dog and man
I miss my uncle Charles y'all
and he shoudn't be gone, in front of his home
What they did to Boo was wrong
Oh so wrong, oh so wrong
Gotta hold on gotta stay strong
When the day comes
Better believe Bone got a shoulder you can lean on (lean on)
Hey and we pray, and we pray, and we pray, and we pray
everyday, everyday, everyday, everyday
and we pray, and we pray, and we pray, and we pray
everyday, everyday, everyday, everyday
[Chorus - Layzie and Krayzie]
See you at the crossroads, crossroads, crossroads
So you won't be lonely
See you at the crossroads, crossroads, crossroads
So you won't be lonely
See you at the crossroads, crossroads
So you won't be lonely
See you at the crossroads, crossroads
[Bizzy]
And I'm gonna miss everybody
And I'm gonna miss everybody when I'm gone
And I'm gonna miss everybody
And I'm gonna miss everybody
And I'm gonna miss everybody
[Layzie]
Living in a hateful world sending me straight to Heaven
That's how we roll
Living in a hateful world sending me straight to Heaven
That's how we roll
Living in a hateful world sending me straight to Heaven
That's how we roll
And I'm asking the good LORD "Why?" and sigh
It's I he told me we live to die
[Krayzie]
What's up with murder y'all, see my little cousin was hung
Somebody was really wrong, everybody want to test us dawg
Then Miss Sleazy set up Eazy to fall, you know why we sinning
And Krayzie intended on ending it when it ends
Wanna come again, again and again
Now tell me whatcha gonna do
[Wi$h]
Can somebody anybody tell me why?
Hey, can somebody anybody tell me why we die, we die?
I don't wanna die
Ohhh so wrong
Ohhhhh wrong
Ohhh so wrong
Ohhhhh wrong
my all time favorite music video is Twisted Sister's "We're not going to take it"
i always pictured the people who made my childhood miserable as the father in the video who was thrown down stairs, through windows and finally a wall.
this is like the ultimate fighting authority anthem
Aphex twin - Windowlicker just because it's mad :)
Duran Duran's "Save a Prayer" from the early-to-mid 1980's -- beautiful footage of Sri Lanka, nice ballad.
Donald Fagen " New Frontier " [ though A-ha is right up there for me, too :) ]
Michael Jackson - Thriller
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOnqjkJTMaA
Hurt-- Johnny Cash.
I can really identify with the lyrics.
U2-"The Unforgetable Fire"
I think The song is about being in love with someone who loves you too but can't be with you,and asking for a last(that might be the first)night together.
I don't think it is about cassual sex...the lines"Come on,take me home/home again"shows a strong emotional feeling...and "stay tonight is a lie"refers to I think acting like whatever the barrier is(marriage,whatever)does'nt exist.
as in the lines
"And if the mountains should crumble
Or disappear into the sea
Not,a tear,no not I"
I think that it is about that,no matter what could happen because of that first night of love,he would not regret it.For me this is one of the best lyrics,a true piece of art.-:)
White and Nerdy.
Thriller
The first one is:
"All that I've Got" by The Used.
Kind of old now, but whatever.
Cool video.
Then "My Darkest Hour" by Scary Kids Scaring Kids. The beginning cracks me up... This should be my first video now that I think of it, but whatever... haha.
Then I have "Cupid's Chokehold" by Gym Class Heroes. I like it a lot for some reason.
Then, 30 Seconds To Mars "The Kill" because it is all theatrical and interesting and the concept is supposed to be of the movie "The Shining".
Lastly "In Regards to Myself" by UnderOath. Don't know why I like this one. It's kind of scary, somehow. =/
Don't bother watching these if you hate music that has screaming and whatnot, cause I can guarantee you will hate it and I will get a not useful rating. haha.
I'm going to stop, because I am getting a little crazy with the videos here. heheh.
((Don't bash my taste in music... I know someone's gonna))
Hey folks... how about posting the video's into your answers here!?!?!?!
Consider this: Gary Numan "Are Friends Electric" I like it because I love the way Gary sings to the camera.
it would have 2 be...
White and Nerdy!lol
Weird Al just did one, A parody of Lady G's "born this way" called "I perform this way", it was a riot but they apparently had to pull it over some objections which I think was a shame because I got to see and compared it to Lady G's Movie Video "born this way" and enjoyed that one very much especially the Birthing it was like something out of Alien Resurrection or something so it was really cool...
~Nemo~
Marianne Faithfull's Broken English because it was directed by Derek Jarman and how old style dancing is juxtaposed with riots.
Savin Me - Nickel back
A-ha "Take On Me"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EXxMlIExpo
Today it's Paparrazzi by Lady Gaga.
The Fear in Your Eyes
by
Gwen Stacy.
-
I Love this video.
fat lip - sum 41 lots of nostalgia
Daft Punk - "Around The World"
Simple, but effective.
Thriller - Michael Jackson
It was amazing when it first came out in 1984,still is.
B grade horror mixed with pop music, never done before.
the dance sequences were amazing too,all in sync.........truly amazing and funny !!
U2- Lemon
Mostly done in black and white. It's odd, mechanical and like a piece of art. The video is intercut with images of the band members in darkness and fog. I like the camera work, how it circles around them. I just thinks it's very well done. The video fits the style and feel of the song.

metallica-the unforgiven,its my life story...
Twist & shouts / La bamba - Sting, Gabriel, Springsteen

The energy is so explosive that it can raise the dead. ;)
That is difficult to say, I will give you some stuff that you mind think is strange, but I sort of like this kind of music (no particular order):
Pantéon Rococo, Buscandoté: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KKPSvnY1qk
Aldubb, Soundwarriors Dub: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaJw52owBbo
Ian Dury and the Blockheads, Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6idHmoe5EM (especially because of the incredible Bass line)
Dub Syndicate, Precinct of Sound:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtKlmD4GE5o (Quote from the text: "Your head will become a crazy bulbous punchbag of sound")
3 Mustaphas 3 - Kac Kuzulu Ceylan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCs5fzVf4Do (this is just a stand-in for a lot of other great songs by this amazing World music band)
Salif Keita, Tomorrow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZM4NIVIOUI&feature=PlayList&p=EAE18494257CBBA6&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=1 (Again, this is just one example. The photo of the video shows the cover of the wonderful album M'Bemba. Salif Keita has an incredible voice, and the use of the Kora in his music is beautiful)
Sonny Rollins, St. Thomas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SY8QVuueqPc (This tune got me into Jazz. This version here was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1959. The version I heard first was on the Prestige Album "Saxophone Colossus and was recorded by Rudy van Gelder in Hackensack, NJ)
Thelonius Monk Quartet, Round Midnight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3L3WOBT-Hw
(Not only the music, also the outfit is extremely stylish. there are many other great tunes by Monk, of course)
Jan Delay, Klar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NbhC5tSA7k
(I have to include a German music act, and this one is really cool - watch it!)
Linton Kwesi Johnson, Want Fi Goh Rave: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BC7Z3VBzUWU (note the Bass player, it is Dennis Bovell, who was responsible for the entire sound of the band that recorded the major albums by LKJ in the 1980s - it is great stuff that hasn't aged a bit. I still listen to it regularly (or raggularly, if you want). I almost can't sit still when I listen to this. As a general note: you should listen to all this music with good speakers that have a sufficiently strong bass. TO me, bass is the real skeleton of music. It holds everything together. Enjoy!)
Beastie Boys - Sabotage

Ok, well, I am a bit drunk, I fear. I look at this video and I want to be there. All the Rromani of all walks of life, of traditional and modern, all gathered together to celebrate. All Familiya. Vitsa and Familiya, no matter what walk of life.
The second one is somewhere I also wish to be before I die. Shows the grace and beauty of a traditionally dressed Rromni. Both show the beauty and grace of a traditionally dressed Rromni. Shukar Rromni. *melts*
I want to go both places, then die peacefully.
One more... as I said, I am drunk. I wish to participate in the "jam session" in the third. Is just a few Rromani getting together to "jam".
VOODOO by godsmack......
fish heads. I think it is from the 80's. Maybe by Dr. Demento and meat loaf I would do anything for love
The Pot- Tool
Its unclear if this is the real video and some say that it was a Monty Python scetch but its great none the less
"Mark Yes or No"
Christina aguilera - dirrty ;)
Not even sure i actually saw this, but in my mind, The smile has left your eyes. asia i think.
These are the days, 10,000 maniacs, love natilly ( sure i spelled it wrong) merchant. what a great voice.
This one! ^_^
Because it's strange and funny.
Smells Like Teen Spirit video because it's such a cool video and it defines the 1990's, in my opinion.
