U will have to Re-Set the Timing (follow the Basic Timing Procedures) back (to I think it's 4 BTDC?) then check to see that "Throttle Plate" actually "Closes" fully when adjusted out fully. Now start & see how far the "Throttle Plate" "Opens" & how fast it is running there. If there is no "Sticking" & speed is still not right, spray some WD-40 around looking for "Leaks" causing the high Idle. I'm not sure changing the EPROM will have an effect on this unless it's just plain BAD as I've never seen published "Idle Specs." for this. But I sure could be wrong. I do know that U definantly have to follow a SPECIFIC procedure for setting the "Basic Timing" & it's different from car to car. Good Luck. John
