  • i dont.. know..
  • I have Internet Explorer and after messing around, I figured out I can do it this way: Go to View Then, go to "Privacy Report..." From there, go to "Settings.." Then, click "Sites..." When you finally get to that point there will be a box where you type in an url to block that certain website if you click the "block" button. =) I hope you have IE lol.
  • get a program like net nanny, if you are trying to protect your children...
  • listen..you can try but there are really way too many sites available so this is what I did. I set-up a friend to come to my house while my kids were there and he pretended to be 'downoading' a "bad-website notifier" and the kids believed it. Then he told me in front of the kids that each time a 'bad website' is opened on this computer that his i-pod -touch will notify him and he wil call me. So we 'tried it out.(the kids were watching) I tried to open a porn site and right away his ipod made a sound (preset) and then he called my cell. Hahaha!!! MAN!! this really worked. I hear them tell their friends who hang around not to even try something stupid coz they wil get in trouble. One day my daughter told me that she must get some information for biology. She went ahead and I was upstairs so I decided to call myself. When the phone rang I heard her say: "shoot, it really works! MOM! tel him I am doing biology. I said 'ok' but I will help you now. Haha.

  • Free or Paid. For FREE use K-9 Web Protection or OpenDns. OpenDns needs a lot more work, but if you know what your doing, it can be the best solution. However to BLOCK websites you need to make and account, email and user, its not fake or harmful, its a perfect solution to BLOCK unwanted websites, OpenDns only BLOCKS Phishing Websites, like i said, you need to make and account to BLOCK websites you want BLOCKED. K-9 Web Protection needs less work, apart from choosing the filtering settings, and that's about it. However with K-9 you have to give them your email address to retrieve your FREE code. Simple. To use the SETTINGS you must enter the Correct Admin Password (which obviously, you make one up). It has Un-installing Protection, so you must enter the correct password to Un-install it. For BLOCKING. 1) Run Command 2) Start Menu Properties 3) Control Panel (or just some of them) 4) Local Disk Or anything like that, use "1st Security Agent". You need a code, but if you email me, i will give you one. Just make sure you download 1st Security Agent 9.2. If you need any help, you can email me. selwood.ryan@live.co.uk
