My baby's soft spot is from his forehead to the back of his head and also from side to side, like a cross. Is this normal?

    Yes. There are actually two soft spots. One in the middle of the head and one in the back.

    Yes it is normal. The bones that make up your babies head haven't fused yet, The parietals the frontal and the oxciptial. They should fuse by age 2.

    I do know each baby is different and while one may have a tiny soft stop, another may have a larger one. However, if you are concerned I would give your Pediatrician a call tomorrow. Good Luck.
