I dont think we should do either of those choices. I wish people would take their time before getting married or having children, it isnt a race, they need to make sure they are ready, before having a child, emotionally, and financially.

We all know that natural resources will run dry. It is without a doubt that people should limit themselves. But where does it begin and when does it end, should we tax extra per child, or apply a limit. Its always said to see low income house holds producing six or seven kids, knowing that there schools will be over crowded, a rise in unemployment, and a lack in food. I fully back taxing extra per child and even a limit to two kids per house hold.

You could make it less appealing to have numerous children for reasons such as food prices, hospital birthing bills, and higher taxes for children. Past that however, It's out of our hands, and up to individuals about how they choose to procreate. You can't impose a limit. What would you do when their is an "accident" child. Take it away from it's parent and up in an orphanage. Those will fill up quite quickly and the standards will become very poor for proper childcare. What then? Kill them? Just round up all the extra childern and tell them "Your existence is a crime, you don't deserve a life because I say it is so." Hell, while your at it, kill the retarted, sick, and elderly. Their useless anyway right? If you really consider this a solution, I strongly suggest you read the Shadow Children series by Haddix.
