I would and did, for several reasons.
1. I told myself 2 was my limit
2. Why put someone through all the problems of BC pills or major surgery when a simple out patient procedure can take care of it.
3. Less worry about pregnancy = MUCH BETTER SEX
Even tho we ended up divorced I still have ZERO regrets. To all the guys out there, quit your whineing and get it done!

I had the vasectomy but it wasn't to help her it was to help me. I'm selfish like that, I guess.

- It had nothing to do with a payroll. You misjudge me. Two kids were enough... forever. I don't have 6 kids asking for money, two were enough - more than that and my patience, attention and capacity would have been stretched thin, the relationship was volatile from the beginning and I needed to minimize the damage that would happen if it fell apart. It really had nothing to do with me except that it was what I wanted to do. One of the best decisions I've made.

- On top of that, If we did split, I knew it would prevent me from having additional children with another partner that would draw me away from my original children. My father left me when I was two.... We were four kids. He dissapeared. Later we found out he had a new wife and two more children..... and he never, ever did anything to help my mother. Not a damned thing. I made the decision many years ago that I wouldn't be my father. So, It was what I wanted for me and the kids. It had nothing to do with their mother.

wait... is vasectomy reversible?

i'd be willing to do it if i was sincerely done with having children for sure, but my mom made that decision too early and I really wanted a little sister :*( til this day... so yeah i would give it time before i do something irreversible

4 days after my third and last child was born I had a vasectomy it was simple,clean and pain free! Highly recommended : ))
