I hate to say this, but you should have not had any rabbits living together. they each need their own cage and each have a nest box with bedding in it for the kits. I don't know if both does will feed them or if they will fight each other over them or what will happen. This is terrible:-( If the rabbits are friendly and calm, I might try separating them into two different cages and nestboxes and give them a whole day alone together with the chosen kits for each. Check the next morning to see if the kits have little round full tummies. If they do, that means the doe has been feeding them. Rabbits easily adopt other doe's kits, but the change in cages might throw them off a little. Rabbits only feed their kits once or twice a day, only in the early morning and then they stay away from them the rest of the time. That is why you usually check those tummies in the morning to see if they were just fed.

Thanks for your comments, all 13 still alive but one seems to have small bloody bite marks on it and removed from the pack. some are larger than others, and underdeveloped ones seem not to be feeding. I put two rabbits in this cage because the well known petshop recommended that i buy two and not just one because they get lonely, the cage is big enough for them so i dont understand what the first commenter meant, they get on well outside in their cage, keep each other warm. i'll take a picture and show you my new family...

I bought some more hutches and split the two rabbits, FIFI and DAPHNE are there names :-) lol. Fifi the smaller rabbit is taking to the babies well, feeding them like clockwork, all babies comfortable and seem relaxed and full of life. However.... The 5 babies i put in with the bigger rabbit, daphne, two died overnight because they were kicked out of nest, cuts on them, probably got too cold, i have removed the living ones, i put one bigger one in with fifi and the other two are very small and frail. Breathing but not moving about like the others. only about 2 inch long unlike the other 4 inch ones. I have today attempted to start feeding these two by hand using kitten milk and an ear dropper from chemist. They seemed to take a bit of milk from me and are now sleeping, i am keeping these indoors so they dont get too cold. maybe i'm wrong in doing all this but i wasn't just gonna watch them get neglected and killed. Fingers crossed!! Started with 13 babies Now there is 11.
