I think before it actually brings to life what real victims go thru more so that the other ones do in regards to child abuse, rape, domestic violence, etc. and Christopher and Mariska make the best team

Like many others have said, the team dynamics are great but also the storylines. Many of the stories focus on something that people tend to shy away of or features aspects that people consider as a taboo in society. I think that makes people naturally curious about how the show goes about depicting those aspects of our society. Also, from what I have heard elsewhere, the depictions of rape victims are portrayed quite realisticly.

The cast has remain consistent. The others have had too many changes.
