  • (Please note: I'm only answering this for a laugh, I have no vested interest whatsoever in who would win). (Also note that the Comic characters listed are by no means the most powerful available). If we are talking a free-for-all with no temporary alliances or helping each other out and that each character will fight until all the rest are beaten, then it's best if we start by only those with a chance. (We'll also have to assume that each character only has equipment that they are known to have in their respective comic stories - yes I know...characters like spiderman, batman and superman have lots of different alternates to play with...but that's the adavntage of being popular *8-) Okay: Those with a chance are: Superman, The Hulk, Batman, Lestat, Wonder Woman. My view on this fight is that Superman, the Hulk, Lestat and Wonder Woman would spend their time taking out the rest of the field (and having no trouble with them at all - except maybe Lestat with Buffy, but let's assume that Lestat survives, mainly because Buffy can't fly and she would likely be stomped on by the Hulk or Superman pretty easily anyway). Batman is likely to hide himself away and take on targets of opportunity, rather than sit in the thick of it. 1- Lestat couldn't pierce Supermans or the Hulks skin to bite them, and isn't really comparable to them in strength or speed. His only targets would be Batman or Wonder Woman. I think he could take out Wonder Woman pretty easily (if he can't then Hulk or Superman could, so let's just assume Lestat can). Batman however has already been a Vampire (see Red Rain trilogy) and didn't really suffer for the change. 2- Superman has already beaten the Hulk (DC-Marvel crossover) So - Lestat gets Wonder Woman. Superman gets the Hulk and Lestat. At this point Batman walks out to face Superman alone - easy choice you might think, but it is known that Superman entrusted Batman with Kryptonite. So as long as Batman hides until the end, and Superman beats everyone else (which he would do) - Batman wins. In reality Superman would probably spend the first part of the fight pointing Batman out to everyone else so that they could take the bat down instead...so Superman wins.... Not a surprise when he was created as a character that is invulnerable to everything, stronger than everyone, etc, etc. I'd rather the Hulk won, but that fights already been done, as I mentioned before. P.S check out the other crossover comics for some more amusing match ups.
  • Batman, because he is always prepared for every eventuality. Even if you added the torn-shirted Captain Kirk to the equation, Batman wins.
  • I would say Superman. He was kinda the original superhero so he was never really balanced. He kinda has every power and his only weakness is a substance that cant even be found on earth O.o Nobody can really compete with that, which is why we're all glad Superman is on our side. Batman vs. Superman. Well, Batman doesn't really have any powers... he's just rich (to be replaced by Richie Rich in later comics?) Superman is kinda overkill for a man who's best offensive is a steel cable snare. Spiderman vs. Superman. Spidey is fast and agile, able to climb walls and use his webs to propel himself along. Superman is as fast as a speeding bullet... not easy to catch. Plus wall crawling is kinda obsolete when you can fly. Sorry, spiderman, maybe your spidey sense will warn you in time to run away >.< Cat Woman vs. Superman. Ok, read the above two... she doesn't really have any powers, she just happens to be agile and rich. The Hulk vs. Superman. Might take awhile for Superman to bring him down, but Superman's got superhuman strength, as well... plus he can fly... and is very fast. Solid Snake... ? Never heard of him, not a comic book buff O.o Vampire Lestat vs. Superman. Another name I dont know, but let me assume he's got typical vampire powers (and I'll be generous, I'm sure he doesn't have all of these). Flying, ok draw there. Strength, same... although I doubt a corpse can lift a freight train. Drinks blood... Superman's got some I think O.o but It might be hard to get it seeing as he's a man of steel. Being dead never hurts... literally. Turning into fog- hard to get your butt kicked when you... have no butt. But Superman'd pull off some crazy stunt like inhaling him and blowing him into the sun, that's just how superman is. Let's say this, though... it''d be a long fight that would probably end up with Superman on top or a stalemate at best. Buffy vs Superman. See Batman, no powers... replace rich with Agile and then see Spiderman. Mario vs Superman. Fat italian plumper who throws hammers and eats performance-enhacing mushrooms, rides around on a dinosaur with a 10ft tongue trying to rescue a princess from a kleptomaniac dinosaur... who kidnaps her just to let nintendo make a sequel. Ok, with that I'm done. You get my point, Superman is unfair. I'm far from a fan of his, quite the contrary, I dont know why he's still around today. Balance, people.
  • If comics can provide the answer, Batman already beat Superman in the alternate future in The Darknight Returns. He used, as mentioned, Kryptonite. Barring Krytonite (which would allow Aunt May to beat Superman), Superman is the ultimate answer. Taking all characters as they've been depicted at their most powerful, Superman is megapotent.
  • Superman is incredibly powerful, fast, and a good thinker on his feet. Given the absence of Kryptonite, he would come out on top. Batman, being human, brings several skills to the table which would work out in his favor. He is a master tactician and hand to hand fighter, and has the resources of a (fictional) leading technology corporation to back him up. He also has a team of people that he has come to rely on including Robin(s)/Nightwing (hand to hand fighting/investigation), Oracle(information processing and team coordination), Batgirl(currently considered to be the top martial artist in the DC universe), and Jim Gordon (metropolitan police force coordination/investigative abilities). Given that he had access to this backup team, Batman could possibly come out on top, but not if he had to take on all opponents at once. Spiderman brings speed, agility, attitude, and web fluid to the battle. Given that some of the more powerful combatants were hampered in some way, and a little bit of luck, he might possibly come out on top. Cat Woman is a good hand to hand fighter, and has claws and a cat of nine tails whip. Given everyone else was gimped to the max, she could come out on top, otherwise she would probably be taken out within the first few seconds when a building/small mountain landed on top of her and all nine of her lives were used up. The Hulk brings immense strength but slow speed to the battle. He would attack others with buildings or small mountains. Given the lack of certain gamma radiation, he would give the most powerful of the combatants the feeling that they had earned their victories, but would most likely not come out on top unless they were handicapped. Solid Snake would need several different types of ammo, several of which have not been invented yet, in order to come out on top. (Kryptonite tip armor penetrating, gamma burst incendiary, solid wood body piercing, etc) Further, he would need at least time to reload and the chance to take out the others one at a time. Given these conditions Solid Snake would come out on top. He most likely would need some type of cheat code. Lestat, being undead and extremely tough to kill, would probably give the others a pretty good battle, but only until the sun came up. Given the battle took place in the lack of sunlight and nobody had any wooden stakes or eaten Italian (Lestat loses to Mario) and that the most powerful characters were gimped, he might come out on top. Buffy the Vampire slayer would need an incredibly lucrative tv contract in order to come out on top, and even then would still be eliminated as she had to come back to life in order to continue in the competition. It is unlikely that she will come out on top, even with the others gimped. Mario, given the right type of mushrooms, and an infinite supply of them, would most likely last to the middle of the battle. Given the others were gimped and he was using a similar cheat code as Solid Snake, he might come out on top. The six million dollar man would most likely be eliminated toward the front of the battle, when the parts of his body made by the lowest bidders on his contract would start to fail. Again, geological formations and flying architecture would probably stop him. The others would need to be gimped in order for him to come out on top. Wonder Woman would most likely be the second to last person standing, along with Superman. In a hand to hand battle with Superman, she would eventually go down, but Superman will have known that he was in a fight similar to his one with Doomsday. Unless she had her armor and her sword. Her sword was last known to be capable of splitting atoms and superman's skin. Given that she had those items, she would be standing over a gored Superman, and would come out on top. Captain America would probably be the third to last person standing, given his fighting skills and tough nature. If the Comics Code Authority were the most powerful authority in the Universe, he would come out on top.
  • As far as Marvel characters go, Hulk would win based on Marvel's own strength database at http://www.marveldatabase.com/wiki/index.php/Strength_Scale. Superman is from the DC universe and is generally accepted as the strongest superhero there. Superman's powers have changed a lot from being as strong as steel and being able to leap buildings in the golden era, to being practically invincible in the silver era, to getting dropped a few notches more recently and even killed off. Superman vs Hulk has been an ongoing debate for at least 40 years now, but more often than not, Supes gets the thumbs up over Hulk, except when Hulk reaches extreme levels of strength in extreme rage, but still would not be able to kill Superman. As far as the others go, bionic man and mario - silly! The interesting one is Lestat - I assume the leader of the vampires - who are generally regarded as having the strength of 10 men but they certainly cannot lift anything close to 100 tons, so the superhero's would certainly beat the vampires silly. Lastly, kryptonite is not a valid answer as we have to assume a fair melee battle in a closed arena - otherwise there is an entire universe of variables to consider.
  • This does say “melee” which implys that it’s a fist fight but we can only assume that they have their gadjets. Solid Snake would win, cause in the first game if you beat it right he had an invisible suit. Therefor noone could see him. In order to beat superman he would simply kill batman and take the kryptonite. Spiderman would be simple cause Solid snake has a rifle and as far as i know spiderman cant stop bullets. Cat woman can only like, influence cats, and since Snake has a scarf that smells like wolves (also found in the first game) so the cats would be scared. Cat woman herself, would die of a bullet cause he is a good marksman. The hulk is not smart, as we all know (good grammer i know) so he could easily outsmart him and shoot him in his mouth or some other softer part of hulk, or inject him with poison. The vampire Lestat is a vampire, Snake has a flashlight, he could just kill him with the uv rays that are in there. Buffy the vampire slayer could kill Lestat before Snake does, she slays vampires (duh) but even if she didn’t it wouldn’t be a problem. Snake could then turn and shoot Buffy cause shes not immune to bullets either. Dealing with the 6 million dollar man would also be simple, cause snake has devices that interfear with eletronics. All his 6 million dollars worth of junk would do nothing, and easily killed. Mario doest really have any powers, maybe a fireball or two but those don’t stop bullets. Wonderwoman would be a tough fight, as would captain america but with Snake’s stealth skills he could hide while those two duked it out, afterwords he could just sneak by the winner of that bout and kill them without them ever knowing he was there. Therefor Snake is the winner of this melee.

  • Batman easily! Why would you count Catwoman as a hero?
  • Batman
  • i couldn't really explain how, but in my opinoin, Snake would win.
  • Spiderman
  • That sounds like a WAR! Don't count out Captain America, war is his specialty, he was forged in WWII. If someone could trick Batman into using his kryptonite on Supes, we can count both of them out because Batman won't last too long. Honestly after seeing World War Hulk, I don't see anyone winning that fight except him.
  • Pro-wrestler Portia Perez would jump in and beat up all of them then make them lick her boots. Why? Because she's Portia freakin' Perez!
  • Superman.
