It`s caused us so many problems in the past and i want to know if anybody thinks that different cultures mixing together is a bad idea or a good idea

I believe if Human Beings would step down off of their high Horse and Allow and Accept Culture Mixing it wouldnt be such a problem !

Unfortunately homogeneous countries do have a better life style and the people are taken care of by their governments.

Countries with different cultures usually have a system that keeps some on the lower part of society because of discrimination.

It's a terrible thing, but just human nature. Even though it's the 21st century and all that should have been eliminated by now it's here and all over. People hate instead of love each other. They hate you because you are different.

We are all the same, we are all human and until people start respecting the small differences between us there will be conflict and war and prejudice.

Actually, the question to ask on this topic is, "What is the least disruptive way to merge two cultures?" Cultures are going to clash, regardless. The best we can hope for is that they can do so without violence.

Just think, A few thousand years from now you wont have to ask that question. There will be one culture, We'll all be of mixed races.

And we still wont be able to all get along!

The difficulty arises when there isn't mutual respect for cultural traditions... you need to respect that what is important to others may not be something important to you, and vice versa. I think different cultures mixing can provide a richness of experience and understanding, as it exposes people to ideas, food, festivals etc. that they wouldn't normally experience! But the mutual respect is imperative, otherwise there can be misunderstandings, and it is these misunderstandings that can breed hatred.
