Help answer this question below.

I got my belly button periced at school the needle was clean but the ring wasnt now my belly button is really infected. i changed the ring but now its really red aroud the top hole what should i do?

    Keep it VERY clean, a solution of sea salt in boiled water is great, This sounds strange but if you get a cup of it (Let the water cool a bit as to not burn yourself) and put it over your belly button so the peircing soaks for a while (20 mins or so) at least once a day should help you recover, make sure you only touch it with clean hands and next time, get the job done by a professional!

    Like he/she said, you need to get some sea salt and do that, changing the ring is not going to do anything except that you changed your ring.
    You should've gotten a professional to get your belly button pierced. Getting Pierced in school is not a good idea.

    If it is really infected, you may need some antibiotics...ESPECIALLY if it is warm/hot to the touch. See a doctor.

    There is a reason that people who do body piercings have to have special licenses, and sterile equipment. Changing the ring isn't going to eliminate the infection once it has started. You have to treat the infection.

    Stick to licensed professionals who know what they are doing and use sterile equipment.

    (BTW, I have a navel piercing, so I'm talking from knowing quite a lot about taking care of them.)
