I was driving my car all day with no problem, when i came home at the end of the night my volt light started blinking on and off I parked turned the car off and tried to start it again and it would'nt crank. what is the problem?

Either your battery is dead, or you have a problem with alternator / charging circuit. Most likely it's the battery.
