I think a lot of women (including myself) are a bit self conscious in bed... Will he think my body is sexy? Can I please him like he wants? etc. I'm sure if you asked a random poll, every woman would have at least ONE part of her body she is self conscious about.. weather it's her butt, thighs, stomach, whatever. But for the love of god, If you are a male, don't ASK about it with said women in bed. It will only make her issue that much worse. Just let her know YOU think she is sexy and she turns you on. especially with that cute little extra she has on her ass ;)
