  • Nobody wants to say what Bush did just Dr me????? Why? Because nobody can name anything he did in a positive way.
  • I have some answers. I am not a huge Bush supporter, but I hate that people accuse ANYONE of things they had nothing to do with. Granted, he is the figurehead of the nation, but that doesn't mean he is solely responsible for all the things wrong in the world. You say you can name 1000 things...please do so, I'm about to post many things he has done right that, if you disagree with, you are a screaming hypocrite...and I don't mean you the questioner, I mean you the people that claim he did nothing. http://archives.cnn.com/2001/ALLPOLITICS/06/27/bush.energy/ This shows how he allocated 100 million extra dollars to research renewable energy in 01 http://www.renewableenergyworld.com/rea/news/story?id=47337 shows where Bush allocated 1 billion dollars for researching renewable energy in 07 http://energista.org/node/396 shows a recycling/energy efficiency bill passed in 07 by Bush http://money.cnn.com/2007/12/19/magazines/fortune/gunther_karsner.fortune/index.htm shows an article about another bill passed by Bush that is supposed to help ween us off foreign oil in time http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11465801/ is a report showing how Bush was trying to get funding and have a plan to aid the research of longer lasting batteries in 06 which would push hybrid cars http://www.ontheissues.org/Celeb/George_W__Bush_Energy_+_Oil.htm is a great site that shows bush's plans vs alternative options and has quotes from him at different events about helping with renewable energy Not to say that all things are about renewable energy and to state very clearly that I WAS AGAINST THE WAR IN IRAQ THOUGH I DID A TOUR THERE, here is a post that shows that, although people don't want us to be there, we are making progress and we are starting to win http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-op-rivkin-cirincione28-2008jul28,0,4099051.story Look, I don't like Bush, we need a more eloquently spoken leader of the free-world. What we shouldn't do though is say "I don't like being in iraq and gas prices are high, so Bush is the anti-Christ" He has done good things, they are just buried under the news media frenzy of the bad things that have happened. As for the gas prices at the pump, you can look at whatever reason you want to, but Bush IS STILL IN OFFICE AS OF THIS POST, and gas prices have dropped more than $1.25 to being under 3$ per gallon where I live. If Bush is responsible for the climb in prices, he is also responsible for the drop. If he is NOT responsible for the drop, he is NOT responsible for the rise so take your pick...either he started doing it right, or he never did it wrong...either way, you can't hate him for it. Again, I am not a Bush supporter...and please please please please please don't start linking posts that show things he has done wrong. I will not respond, this post is to answer the original question of things he has done right...I am not starting a debate, I am not here to argue politics...I am merely answering a question as honestly as I know how.
  • Hey Big Daddy - Why don't you ask a question instead of spreading your hate?
  • love him or hate him, bush tells it as it is without his spin doctors like tony blair, england would have him for priminister, fuck brown, blair, hilary clinton and especialy wanker obama!!!
