2006 Chevy Express 2500 van starting from a stop i get a loud graduating whistle noise once the trany shifts the noise lowers and as the speed increases the whistling gets higher untill 2nd shift then i cant really hear the whistling anymore.

See if your transmission fluid level is good. It might be time for a transmission flush / fluid replacement.
