WOW i never ever noticed it. Ill be right back imma take my dog for a ride, right after i blow in his face!!!
-
It's one of those dog-gone things. I don't have a dog but what you brought up seems to get my attention. Maybe dogs like it in a car because the car is moving and he likes the feeling of that. And mybe your breath stinks and he doesn't like it.
-
all i can say is ask your dog..cause all dogs are diffrent ..lol and no one realy knows i wouldnt think.good question thou.
-
Your breath smells bad to him. Remember he has a much keener sense of smell than you....
-
I do know they dont like that, and I believe it scares them, cause it catches them off guard. When he is in a car, he knows what to expect.
-
Because you are distracting him by blowing, and he sticks his head out at his own free will.
-
One is threatening, the other feels good. I hope you're kidding with this.
-
Maybe you need a breath mint?
-
For starters - a dog has much better scent - so it will smeel the currie left over smells in your stomach from the day before and the reason why they like there head out of the car window is because of two reasons - they pick up smells from other dogs and it needs fresh air because someone in the car let her rip and the dog can't breathe!
-
my dogs try to lick you go when you blow on them and they lick the air in the car
-
Our breath is hot and stinky. And the air from our mouths is blown at a certain point on their face. I don't like it when people blow on me. But you stick your head out the window, it's cool, it's breezy, it cools you off. Put me in a convertible anytome over someone blowing on my face with nasty butt breath!
-
One thing i noticed with my dogs is they try to bite at the air blowing from the car window also. But Penny has a point I'm sure to a dog we have to have the worst smelling breath in the world. lol
-
I think it has to do with you putting your face so close to the dog, than doing this action. I don't think it's the breeze that upsets your dog.
-
Did you ever notice that most humans have the same reaction? :P
-
I have noticed that; its really strange!!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!
-
dogs hate when u blow in there face because people have bad breath
-
Humm maybe my dog was different.. She would start sniffing the air moving closer to your face haha if you kept it up she would end up licking you. It was always fun to do.
-
its all about smell ur car stinks and so does your breath and you dog wants to not be smelling that
-
I have noticed that. And I can't figure out why that is, unless my breath is questionable to my dog. They have superior noses for smelling.
-
A dog's sense of smell is VERY sharp. Maybe they smell the garlic and/or onions from last night's (or maybe even last week's) spaghetti. LOL
-
LOL That's funny!
-
no not all dogs do that
-
No, it just means your breath STINKS!!!;)
-
maybe he's trying to tell you your breath is worse than the smog...
-
use some Scope first.

And did you notice that when you look all over town to find food he'll eat, he still licks his butt?
-
My dogs lick my face when I blow in theirs.
-
When you do it yourself, you are a creature causing the dog pain (blowing air in his eyes). While several old paintings depict "the wind" as "a guy blowing air out of his mouth" ("Venus on the Half Shell" springs to mind), the wind is just a bunch of air blowing at the dog's face. There is no creature causing the dog pain, and the dog knows that he'll have to half-close his eyes in the wind.
-
Everyone likes fresh air in their face and a nice breeze blowing by..but no one likes to be teased, it's annoying.
-
ya.
-
I have noticed both separately, but never connected the apparent irony.
-
True! never noticed, but bad breath might be the problem....
-
yep, a tic-tac might be the answer you seek
-
Yup I've thought of this before. Its soooo weird. LOL!!
-
LOL. That is so funny. I have always noticed that. I don't know why that is..different kind of wind or bad breath?
-
dem silly dogs
-
I almost needed a translator to read that...
-
That's because your breath stinks
