  • T-Spins are nasty little confusing moves in Tetris. If you are a good player you will try to get a tetris, or four lines cleared, every time you play. However, designers found a new, much more difficult way to score many more points than a tetris. T-Spins are incredibly hard to explain without visual cues, so there is a video attatched. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrqMGN9ANxM just in case. T-Spins are a way of utilizing that purple T-shaped piece by rotating it into a spot which would otherwise be impossible to play. You can get T-Spin singles, doubles, and triples; although Facebook's "Tetris Friends" application does not honor T-Spin triples. T-Spins receive more points than Tetrises but are extremely hard to set up correctly. If you have that Facebook application I highly recommend watching the overall high score on the game, the guy uses almost only T-spins. Hope this helped!
