I had an unusual pattern going. I had $5000 then spent $1000, got $1000, spent $2000, got $3000 and saved. Don't ask me how I got it. It's a long story.

I once came out of a pawn shop with fifty bucks in hand, that's pretty much as big as it gets with me.

One time I had a check for $170,000 dollars which I cashed, and had the cash on my possession for about an hour till I put most of it in the bank. It was a settelement out of an 11 year law suit..

Just over $21,000 U.S. Proceeds from the sale of my first home. Re-invested next day, but it was fun holding that much for a few hours.

Sure I worked for a local Police Dept back in late 80's. What happened after that was unspeakable, and horrendously violent. I was forced to quit. I went thru a Federal Agency to go after the ones at fault. In Court most told the truth, and others backed up my horrid treatment by some. The entire ordeal took 11 years, and what a battle it was. I was awarded over 2 million, but they appealed AGAIN. SO I chose to settle at $180,000 and ten thous went to my attorney. I did it for me, my kids and any other woman in a hostile environment, with men in power. It was a unprecidented case, and was on the news all over the world. It was the "worst case of sexual harrassment/discrimmination on file EVER."

I worked as a bank teller many years ago and held over $100,000.00 in cash. Of course I had to distribute it out among all the other tellers. After a while it just felt like play money...too much to be real.

Cash? About $27,000 out to pay something in cash. Really scared the guy. He had the other person close the front door and watch out for I don't know what. Didn't mean to worry him but it's just how we did things back then. Didn't like using credit.

Hard cash - 6,000,000 pesetas - about £24,000. When I drew it out of the bank they were quite impressed that I stuffed it into my camera bag rather than a plastic supermarket carrier bag. Unfortunately I only had my hands on it for half an hour.
