No. Never. The only people on my friends list that I don't know personally are: 1.) Bars and clubs that I visit often, because they post bulletins about specials/events. 2.) People who I'd already been friends with online, but have never met.

hell yes, it builds up the number of "friends" I have and makes me look like less of a social leper

Never. And I think it's pretty silly the way people collect friends, as if a larger number makes you look cooler or something. I don't allow myself to be "collected."

On my personal page, no. On my public one, yes; but only if they are local musicians.

I have a Facebook and MySpace account and I have NEVER acceoted someone's friend request that I don't know who they are.

It depends on what profile it is. I have a real profile for people that I actually know. On that one, I don't add people I don't know. I also have a profile just for socializing, and on that one, I will add anyone.
