  • No. Either the ambulance team will do that or the coroner.
  • It depends on the area. In some small towns they do. But in most areas they will call out the police detectives, et al, who determine whether it is a crime scene. After the body has been prepped for removal, an ambulance will haul the body to the morgue for an autopsy. Again, it depends on where you live.
  • No, usually an ambulance takes the body from the scene unless it's a crime scene in which case the coroner comes to collect the body :)
