Rold Dalhes Revolting rhymes were genius. I LOVED them, especially the funny version of the three little pigs where he rings red riding hood for help and she shoots the pig and wolf for a second fur coat and a pigskin handbag. I still remember the rhyme of the big bad wolf. "I'll come back in the dark of night, and blow it up with dynamite."

I think it was from Brothers Grimm, about the princesses that would sneak out of their rooms at night and go to balls. They went down avenues of silver pears, then gold ones and so on, and every morning the king would check thier shoes and discover how worn out they were. He hired someone to follow them and gave him an invisible cloak, but he got discovered because he fell in love with one of the princesses.
