6 Billion years, when the sun expands and swallows the Earth. Hopefully by that time we will all have colonised some other planet and moved on. I think the Bible /religion gets blamed for a lot of things it isn't responsible for, and even though the end of the world is prophesised in the bible, it only means that it was going to happen anyway, not because the bible said so. I also think that paranoid, sanctimonious (but not necessarily religious) people have been telling us 'the end is nigh' for thousands of years, to justify their own agenda, not because they beleived it would happen soon.

Biblically all things written about concerning the end of the Era of Grace must be fullfilled before the generation that saw Israel reborn into a nation can pass away as a whole. Then comes 7 years of trouble upon the Earth followed by the 1000 years of peace. After that God said He'd burn up everything with unquenchable heat so great that even the elements would melt!

google the phrase 21 12 20012. there is a lot of information regarding that date as a very significent date, ( well anywhere up to 6 months either side) its relative to the mayan calander running out on that date, its true significance is obvisously as of yet unknown, but.............
