for those annoying ones under the skin:
Take a damp washcloth and heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds (as hot as you can tolerate it without burning your skin). Apply to the pimple until the cloth cools. Repeat this 5 or so times. It will draw the pimple and associated nasty gunk (technical term) up and out.

Wash your face right after you come home from school or work or outside. This gets rid of dirt and sweat.
Every evening and morning, wash your face.
Always wash with face wash.
If you touch your face a lot, stop that and avoid letting your hair cover your face too as it is quite dusty.
If you are stressed out, the acne might not go away until the stress does.

Washing your face well morning and night with soap and water, and cleaning your face several additional times per day (whenever it gets oily) with alcohol prep pads works quite well if oily skin is the primary cause of your pimples.

I dont have problems with acne but every now and then i get some weird pimple that i try popping and know it wont go away, so over night, i use tooth paste. not the gel kind, the actual tooth paste. it works for trying to lose a zit fast
