If you are going to "write-off" a car for business expenses, it might as well be an expensive one!

The bling factor. Everything on a cadi is big, which means you can throw lots of chrome on it. It's also big inside, so (as steelstr45 mentioned) they can carry a lot of ho's. I do think, however, that pimps (and gangsters, etc) like to make a statement. A cadillac always has and still does make a statement when it arrives, so it gets them attention, sometimes envy, etc. It's a way to feel important, which is all they're going for anyways.
