However: But there is much confusion over the actual value, with data and calculations variously yielding 167+, 186, 218, 228, and 230. Extremely high IQ measurement is an inexact science: high IQs are very difficult to quantify because so few people have IQs at that level, giving rise to the problems associated with small sample sizes; ceiling bumping caused by tests not designed to measure such high IQs; and fat tailing which gives the impression more high IQs exist than predicted by a normal distribution. Moreover, there are general disagreements and controversies over the validity of IQ scoring at any level.

I attended a school for gifted children and there was a kid in my school who had an IQ of 200. I don't know what happened to him. His name was Raymond Staples and he had an amazing ability to absorb new information. It was astounding. And he always seemed to be able to do it without any effort. Haven't seen him since age 12 or 13 but in terms of pure ability to learn, I have never met anyone like him.

I can tell you this, I have been tested 5 times over my lifetime and each time my I Q has been within 20 points of 270. I don't feel like I am a genius or any kind of super smart person. I do have trouble relating to people at times. I find it much easier to deal with computers and chatting online. I can fix anything that I put my mind to. And I have found that most things come to me easily. The one thing that I do have problems with is human interaction and social situations. Mostly because I feel so out of place. Kind of like out of my comfort zone.
