It's from Greek: biblion 'book'+ -graphia 'writing'. The books that you get your writings from.
according to pliny the elder, biblio (from the greek = book) and graphy (from the greek also, = writing )
so it means "book report"
What is the derivation of the word bejeezus? Is it a form of Jesus? Or just a slang word for something? I know how the word is used. Just curious about the derivation:)
