  • You die.
  • your nerves and organs will start to die, you would lose your hair and teeth. im a recovering anorexic, so i know from experience.
  • You'll die, but not for a while if you at least keep drinking water. Your body will try to supplement by literally trying to digest its own stomach acid, nothing fun about that.
  • your body starts to burn whatever complex substances left in the stomach that it probably would have got rid of... then your metabolism slows way down and you start to be in a hibernation of sorts, you have low energy levels and start burning off storages from the last starvation period's collections.
  • you will get hungry
  • A body that doesn't receive nutrition begins to consume itself. First the body fat, then the organs, and then cartilage and ligaments. But before it gets that far, you start to go nutty. The fats and nutrients in food keep your brain firing on all cylinders. You don't have to eat a lot to stay healthy and mentally stable, but you do have to eat! FYI, death from starvation -- meaning absolutely zero food or nutrients of any kind, just drinking plain water and nothing else -- occurs within 30 days or less. 30 absolutely TORTUROUS, PAINFUL days, to be sure. And without water? 4 days or less. DO NOT STOP EATING.
  • 200 cal a day you will have no energy, probably get constipated a bloated stomach and a lot more
  • all because of finances, i really don't eat the way i should. i just keep thinking its all for the greater good, and pretend i'm like those people on survivor. i see this isn't the way. i need to start eating regulary again. my bills are getting fed, but not me!
  • It ends up in a wooden box.
  • Lisa, a woman of average height and average activity level needs 1200 calories per day MINIMUM, but 1800 is ideal. You're shooting about 1000 too short! It sounds like you really do have a plan in the works. 200 calories a day is just NOT sufficient, my dear. I'm not just overreacting here. GO TO A DOCTOR OR NUTRITIONIST before you embark on this for any length of time! Tell them your goals and philosophies, and they'll help you address them in a way that won't cause you to harm yourself. Just to give you an idea of the way a healthy person eats, I saw Lisa Rinna on TV last night, showing off her "bikini body." She's 45 with 2 kids, but she has to be a size 2 tops. She's totally ripped and fit because she exercises every day, AND she eats a small meal or snack EVERY 3 HOURS, all day long. For real! I would guess she probably consumes between 1500 and 1800 calories every day. You just don't get to be healthy on 200 calories a day. You'd barely stay alive, in fact. Just put that notion right out of your mind! I don't know why you want to try this, but if you're thinking this would be a good way to lose weight without exercising, all I can say is... well, that's dumb. Just eat small portions of healthful foods, and exercise a little every day. And drink nothing but water. No coffee, tea, booze, soda... not even diet soda. Just water, with or without bubbles. Do that, plus exercise 5 to 20 minutes a day, depending on your current fitness level, and I promise you'll feel really great, really soon, and inches will melt away. But no matter what, you really, REALLY need to see a doctor before you begin any of this. They'll want to be sure you check out OK for exercise and dieting. Sensible dieting, that is! Keep us posted on your activities, please.
  • Did you hear about Karen Carpenter? First your body will start breaking down muscle to fuel itself then it will eat away at your brain tissue and finally it will cease to function.
