How the heck do you beat Yu Yevon on FF X, do you have to launch out a aeon and then defeat it with another aeon?

When you call an aeon, it will become possessed by Yu Yevon. The aeons dodge physical attacks a lot so a stradegy is to have Tidus cast haste on lulu, and have her use Flare.Yuna can also use Holy. use ethers to regain magic if mp is low.

when you have defeated all of the aeons, you will have to fight Yu Yevon head on. It uses Gravija and heals itself with curaga. Have Auron use Zombie attack, so that Yu Yevon hurts itself, insted of heal.Yunas Holy will also be handy in this battle.

When you are facing Yu Yevon himself, cast zombie on him and then cast life. This should do 9,999 damage everytime. Keep doing this until you beat him.

Here's an easy easy way to beat the crap out of him from the very beginning. When you first get access to Aeons, don't use them. Plain and simple. Just level up Yuna with White Magic and whatever. But Don't use the Aeons too much that they'll level up. Because by the time you are at the very end, all you do is blast them with high level spells, they'll die in a seconds and you'll be done with the game.

Then when you have to face him head on just zombie-fy him and full life him for the win.

- Not everybody's been with the series since the phantom train, or familiar with standard RPG conventions. Also people might assume something so cheap couldn't possibly work on a boss.

- well sorry i just thought that most people have some common sence jesus... beacause i dont know about u but i try different things when i play a game i dont just jerk off and do the same fucking thing all the fucking time... and for the record it was my first time beating the game i just have some common sence

- Again, they might try different damaging spells, but not find it logical to use healing spells for damage, even on undead.
