Do you like any of Colleen McCullough's novels? Which ones and what did you like about it/them?

I asked the question (and am here now in an Answer box) because I found out she's written 7 books in a series called "Masters of Rome" - published over a period of 17 years. Was hoping someone had read one or more of them. In addition, I saw the movie "Tim" and tv miniseries "The Thornbirds" - but haven't read either of the Colleen McCullough books they came from! And .. sad to say .. don't have a clue about all the other novels of hers (9 more) I saw listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colleen_McCullough But given how much I liked Tim and The Thornbirds, have to wonder about all the other things she's written. So ... I'm running 0 out of 18 books .. but loved film and miniseries version of 2. Any readers of Colleen McCullough out there? :) Have a feeling I'm missing out and should check out some of her books.

read Thornbirds many years ago and it was very entertaining!
