  • No he won't. First of all, if he does exist, which religion's version of him/her are you supposed to believe? Also, if God is truly good, how is it good to punish those for simply not believing in something that there is absolutely no proof for? Plus, what is the point of eternal punishment? You won't learn anything by that punishment if you're basically tortured for all eternity. If God is good, what point does eternal punishment serve him? The pleasure of watching someone suffer for not doing what you want them to? How is that good?
  • No, there is no evidence for god and therefore we shouldn't assume he even exists. If you take the bible as truth though, you'd have to conclude that he is going to send more than 70% of the world's population to hell (all the people who don't accept Jesus Christ as their savior, and probably many 'bad Christians' too). Would there be a difference between Hell and Holocaust? There are certainly many similarities, but there is one major difference. Hitler was purely evil, but god is even worse. The Holocaust killed millions of Jews, but he just ended their life. What god does, is torturing people for eternity. I'm talking about the worst pain you can imagine, not just for a minute, or an hour, not for a year, not for a lifetime. I am talking about eternity. There will never be an end of this immense pain.
  • I don't believe in a personal God as presented in the Bible. I don't believe in Hell as a kind of eternal concentration camp either. The various genocides done by the Nazis during WWII were mainly the killing of people, and often also their torturing. But it was not something which would last forever. It was, at the worst, something that was supposed to last for the rest of their existence, if you consider that there is no other existence than this very life. In this sense, the classic description of Hell is absolutely horrific and sadistic.
  • No, non believers are condemning themselves by not believing. The difference between the Holocaust and Hell is choice. The holocaust victims had no choice, but anyone who chooses not to embrace the truth of Christ and what He did chooses separation from God for eternity.
  • The difference between the Holocaust and Hell is that the Holocaust really happened and Hell is not real.
  • I believe the spirit of the anti-christ is in the world, that is why this horrific crap is still going on. Jesus talked about it, prophets warned about it and it is all happening. This world system is being run by satan, not by God. The world is still God's, but satan is the prince of this world. That is why things are so bad. I don't blame God for that, because I know what He has promised and I accept it.
  • But we aren't solving our problems, they are getting worse. Pollution, starvation. No amount of reality tv out of Hollywood will change that, it distracts us for a while, but things will only get worse. We will have to agree to disagree I guess. :)
  • god, nor hell dont exist, whereas hitler, and the holocaust did
  • God eventually saves all from sin and shares His complete happy experience of eternity with everyone... God reconciles all to Himself through Jesus Christ, Who makes peace through His shed blood and crucifixion (Col 1:20). Jesus is the Lamb of God Who takes away all the sins of all the world (Jn 1:29). The creation itself, also, shall be freed from the slavery of corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of God (Rom 8:21). Hell's punishment is not forever but until the end of the eons. People don't sin enough during their mortal lives for God to choose endless punishment besides it would spoil the future of eternity to have a section continually reserved for endless torture... People are made by God to rebel against His ideal will for them and then offered a choice - forgiveness of their rebellion, or, punishment for their sins until they have paid the last penny... After punishment, those who went through torture in hell come to realise they need faith on God to succeed in life and they are converted into God's kingdom so that they cease from sinning and are rewarded for their compliance... There are two bible translations which uphold the doctrine of Universal Reconciliation with God, and the union of all beings into experience of God as the all in each of us.
