  • Though the Camaro and P/U may share the same size engine (virtually all small block Chevs will interchange physically), keep in mind the electronic differences. If the 78 engine is a special performance unit, this may be worth while. If it is just a used engine from an older car, I can't see going to the trouble of bypassing all of the truck's electronics to install an engine that is so much older than the truck.
  • yes it would but you have to make sure that the carburator is on top,then don't use the fly wheel cause then it might start or something............
  • your 91 engine has 1 piece rear main bearing seal.the intake bolt holes are different so you can't use your truck fuel inj. you have many sensors to swap. your truck has serpentine belts and the water pump rotates opposite direction. too much, not worth the hassle.
