You could but why would you want to. "Highway" or "road diesel" is taxed more heavily than home heating oils. The chemical compostion is essentially the same, hence the reason why gas prices are falling and diesel fuel remains steady. It competes in the market with heating oil in the winter months
Yes you could but it costs soooo much more with the road taxes. Not a good idea.
No. the fumes will kill you. there are special heating oil fuels made for home heating and this is not one of them.
no u shouldnt because of the additives in the diesal fuel it can cause alot of problems with your furnace and should not be used
Sure. Us Army vets remember those old oil heating stoves in the Barracks., The ones he had to pump up! They always used Diesel. We didn't have "Home Heating oil" in Korea!

Because im out of work. My delivery service has a 150 gallon minimum order, and i dont have $450.00, so I buy 10 gallons of diesel to last a few days at a time
