The air conditioning units in our condo are on the roof. The person's unit below me vibrates, shaking my daughter's room and our bathroom. Can I request that something be done about this?

Absolutely. You are entitled to reasonable living conditions and peaceful enjoyment of your surroundings. Contact the property managers and let them know about the problem. They should send someone out to look at the problem. If you experience reluctance or apathy, contact your local housing authority.
