My engine is noisy. I have been told that the valve lifters are sticking. Is there anything that I can add to the engine oil to free-up the lifters, and if so how does it work?

definitely go to an Auto parts store and explain your problem. they have very specific stuff for your problem, for gas and oil. Of course you have changed your oil and filter huh?

Go to auto zone and ask this question. there are several products available, that may work. this occurs when the oil has not been changed for a while and/or the viscosity of the oil has broken down, causing sludge in the engine.
