I mean this is no official answer or anything, but I'm pretty sure they could if they had the will power to do so. It would most likely be a difficult thing to face, because withdrawl is a very serious and mentally and physically distressing thing to go through. Also, there is a risk of becoming suicidal when one withdraws from something the body has become so dependent on. Hope that helped.

No, because your rehab. needs to be supervised under a controlled environment. just in case there are complications from your detox.

Good for you for making this decision. hopefully, your teeth have not been destroyed and your brain still functions.

Less than six percent of meth addicts ever recover, this is a terrifying stat. seeing as how meth is popping up more and more, I would say it would be next to impossible to recover without help, and there is LOTS of help out there.

It is possible, but extremely difficult. Stopping would involve overriding basically the entire body's desires... it is probably the equivalent of fasting for days on end. As the user uses it less, the brain (I believe it is the hypothalamus, correct me if I'm wrong) wants it more and more.

In conclusion, it is always better to get the help of counselors. Breaking away alone is painful beyond belief.

My wife worked with quite a few meth users as a counselor. A small percentage did kick the habit with help. I would imagine an even smaller percentage do it without help.

Yes, if u have heaps of junk food and tv, coz u get real tired at first. Energy will soon return, it's all in the mind, your not gunna physically sick like comin from heroin, just tired, hungry, lazy, a bit depressed maybe.
