What can I do to my apearance in order to stand out in against my peers?

    You know what your peers do. Do the opposite. It is easy to break the mould - if you want to. But actually, what you probably want is to be a teensy weeny bit more non-conformist than your peers - but not too much,

    Originality comes from inside. Do what *you* think maKes *you* appear appear more like *you* want to appear. But if you are going to be original, stick with it. Wear teh most poutrageous thing you can stand (a) your friends seeing, (b) your parents seeing, (c) the newspapers seeing. If you can withstand startling all three of those groups, then you may have something original.
