  • Last time I checked, a perfect score on either math or language was 800. A perfect score would be 800,800 or 1600. I knew people who got an 800 on math. I found a news item that claims that 673 students got a perfect 1600 in 1998. It is apparently not all that uncommon...
  • Starting with the class of 2005 the highest possible SAT score will be 2400.
  • 2150/2400 I much prefer the ACTs. I'll let you know if they are overrated depending on where I get into college.
  • I don't remember now. Was too dang long ago. And yes I think all tests are overrated.
  • 1340 / 1600
  • math 750 verbal 660 writing 650 I like them because they helped me earn $62,000 in scholarships from the college I currently attend.
  • I got 7,7,7 in the UK, I don't know if they can translate to an American system or if they are totally unrelated. The UK average is 5.
  • I got a 5 and two 6's, I didn't and still don't have a clue what they were for.
  • I got a 1440 on the old one. I think that the ACT is a better test of your actual knowledge.
  • In my year 6 ones, I got 2 6's and a 5, and for my year 9 ones I got 3 7s
  • I don't remember my score; but I can tell you I passed it with out studying for it.
  • theres 2 English thing so highest = 2400 Sorry to brag, but I got 2400 :) IT wasn't all that hard... • 2340/2400 last month
  • The highest possible score is 2400, I'm sure some people have gotten it.
  • Jakub Voboril He took the SAT the results a perfect 2400. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14407042/
  • 800 & 800 = 1600
  • It's natural to think that something is 'overrated' or 'unfair' when you've done poorly on it. That is the idiot's signature stance on anything: "If I don't understand it, it's stupid and doesn't matter and I hate it and I dismiss it as pointless (even though I'm aware of the fact that prior to the test I held the diametrical view)." Case in point: GONZO writes "Yeah i think they're over rated. They're for government use only really, so they dont mean anythingg much at all." Paired with his perverse opinion on the matter is his sad command of the English language, which betrays his (likely very) low test scores and explains his adverse reaction. I eagerly await the almost certain invective that will pour forth from my dissertation. My verbal tact will outwit any cretin who dares try to debase me. I scored ceiling on the SAT in 1993 (1600), graduate of MIT (computer engineering), and I've had IQ scores consistently in the 170's (std. dev. 15).
  • Ejexion, I like your story about going to MIT, and doing CompSci. I am writing a story about a character that also went to MIT, took computer science in 1994. Maybe you can help? I would like to know about what it took to get into the university, and into that program? Also, what kinds of classes were you taking in the early 90's and what did you do before attending to prepare? Anything you can tell me would help. Thanks.
  • Anything above 1600 is considered as an excellent score. However if you are looking for the information on SAT, i would suggest that you go to this site examville.com, they can help you with the SAT information you need.
