I want to know if I can use a Vincent SA-T1 pre-amp in the U.S. It say its voltage range is 220-240 volts. Is this volume legal?

Most household circuits are 110v 60 hz. Homes are typically fed with a 220v "center-tapped" feed, so the 220 is available on some outlets in the house usually. But you should make sure the equipment can handle 60hz.

If you can't find a 220 outlet, you can use a step-up transformer. A preamp shouldn't require a massive transformer.
