Help answer this question below.

IF THE MOTHER BLOOD TYPE IS O POSITIVE AND THE FATHER BLOOD TYPE IS O POSITIVE DOES THAT MEAN THE CHILD'S BLOOD TYPE IS ALSO GONNA BE O POSITIVE OR CAN THE CHILD HAVE A DIFFERENT TYPE OF BLOOD LIKE B POSITIVE.

    I just got outta a class that talked about this. Although im not sure whether its like O positve like an Oo thing or idk an Ob thing...(srry) so its possible... i think...

    There are 2 ways this could happen: (1) Through a rare genetic mutation-& in fact this is why the standard for paternity tests is the HLA system. (2) Sometimes eggs may be scrambled: if this happens after a certain point we may have a child with 3 legs, etc.; but before that point this does not happen because the body "chooses"(I guess you know I'm speaking loosely here) 2 arms, 2 legs,et. al. So you may have a person who is part of 2 twins, e.g. Thus there have been cases where a person's bloodtype is different from their reproductive system. In one case a few years ago the father doubted he was the father-he was, but the test showed his wife not to be the mother. That is to say, from her bloodtype, she was her daughter's Aunt.
