No, that is not living as far as I am concerned, that is just surviving. Not being able to communicate and retaining all emotions would be SO frustrating for me, and horribly sad for my family.

No. What kind of life would I have? I mean, if I absolutely could not communicate, I couldn't blink. If I could blink, I could communicate. I think as long as I could communicate I'd want to live, but if I couldn't communicate, move or understand, no.
